Instagram - is it for you?

While not the new kid on the block anymore, Instagram, with it's 450M-plus active users a month, has established itself as a rich social platform and one of the most popular social media networking platforms out there.

I use it, my daughter uses it and so do her friends. I love the ability to express personality and it's easy to use. I think Instagram allows for more ‘active’ engagement and users are getting more encouragement and comments on Instagram than on Twitter. At least that's been my experience.

So how can your brand or organization amplify its PR and marketing efforts through this fun, social, visual platform? How do you decide if it right for you?

An abundance of users doesn’t 100% mean you it's the right fit for all and you need to get on the train. Ask yourself the question: do your target audience or customers use Instagram? How will you engage that demographic? Instagram requires a strategy. What is yours?
